Draw Down Official Rules

  1.  A grand prize of $10,000 will be awarded on Thursday, June 20th in the Magnolia Ballroom at the MLMA Convention and Trade Show.
    2.    Draw Down Ticket(s) (from here on referred as “ticket(s)”) cost per individual are $50 each.
    3.    You must be 21 years or older to purchase a ticket.
    4.    A maximum of 500 tickets will be sold.
    5.    A minimum of 200 tickets must be sold for the $10,000 to be awarded.  If fewer than 200 TICKETS are sold, the prize awarded will be adjusted.  The minimum total prize amount is $5,000.
    6.    A ticket is considered purchased when complete payment of one of the ticket has been received and recorded through the MLMA website.
    7.    One person must be named as the ticket owner.  The ticket owner controls the ticket and is responsible for making the decision to split the prize with the other finalists.
    8.    Ticket sales will end at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2024.
    9.    Tickets will be drawn throughout the course of the evening (approximately from 7:45 p.m. to 9:15 p.m.)  Door Prizes will be awarded throughout the drawing.
    10.    Once 20 tickets remain in the drawing, we will hold a live auction for 3 additional tickets to be placed back in the drawing. These 3 additional tickets (each sold to the highest bidder) will be placed back in the drawing at 20 tickets remaining, 10 tickets remaining, and 5 tickets remaining.
    11.    The final ten ticket owners will be asked to come forward and the raffle will continue until there are five (5) ticket owners remaining.
    12.    The remaining five ticket owners will have the opportunity to decide whether to continue with the raffle or split the $10,000 Prize equally.  If there is agreement among all five, the $10,000 Prize will be divided between the five ticket owners (at this point each receiving $2,000).  If one person does not want to split the $10,000 Prize, the raffle will continue.  Ticket owners who are not present will abide with the final vote made by the ticket owners who are present.
    13.    Before each remaining ticket is drawn, the remaining ticket owners will again be polled and the rules noted above will apply.
    14.    If the raffle continues, and after the 5th to the last ticket owner is out, the remaining four (4) will decide whether to continue the raffle or to split the $10,000 equally (at this point each receiving $2,500).
    15.    If the raffle continues, and after the 4th to the last ticket owner is out, the remaining three (3) ticket owners will decide whether to continue the raffle or to split the $10,000 equally (each receiving $3,333.33).
    16.    If the raffle continues, and after the 3rd to the last ticket owner is out, the remaining two (2) ticket owners will decide whether to continue the raffle or to split the $10,000 equally (each receiving $5,000).
    17.    If the raffle continues, and after the 2nd to last ticket owner is out, the remaining ticket owner will receive the Grand Prize of $10,000.
    18.  The ticket owners of the final ticket and all door prize winners must be present in order to win.
    19.  If the ticket holder of the final ticket is not present, the prize will go to the owner of the next to last ticket assuming they are present.
    20.  Winners are solely responsible for any and all taxes due on the awards.
    21.  Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
